Have dSLR camera, will travel. Since you’ve managed to get this far into our website, you might as well burn a little more time and check out these photos.  We will add more from time to time, to keep you coming back -- I have added my latest roadtrip pics this morning (sorry, I have been somewhat tardy.)

A lot of people have asked me for photo tips. Firstly, I am far from being a pro -- I’m more a point-and-shoot guy with a better-than-okay camera,  with maybe an eye for composition. You tell me!

With that sat said, here’s my top ten list of photo tips that I have shared elsewhere:

  1. 1.Lock your focus -- photo editing software can correct a lot of problems - but it will never correct a blurry picture

  2. 2.Check your lighting

  3. 3.Use your flash -- even outdoors

  4. 4.Know the range of your flash

  5. 5.Get at eye-level

  6. 6.Be mindful of your backgrounds

  7. 7.Get closer

  8. 8.You’re the director - it’s okay to tell your subject what you want them to do

  9. 9.Rule of thirds - move your subject away from the centre of the shot

  10. 10.Switch up and use vertical shots.
